Initial Evaluations:

Initial evaluations are for those who have not yet been treated by us yet. These visits are 60 minutes long, and completed by a doctor of physical therapy. During the evaluation you can expect to receive an extensive assessment about your injury, pain, or limitation. You will also receive initial hands-on treatment, home exercise program, and leave your appointment feeling clear on the next steps for treatment. Your physical therapist will give you their recommendations on how to proceed with treating your injury.

Visit Packages:

Packages vary in price - there are 6, 10, and 20 visit options. Packages are chosen between yourself and your therapist. Your therapist will give you their best recommendation of course of treatment. Visits never expire once purchased, you may use them at any time. All visits are 50-60 minutes in length, and are conducted by a doctor of physical therapy. If you do not choose to purchase a package, you may choose a “pay per visit” option.

Dry Needling:

Dry needling uses a thin monofilament needle which goes into muscles. By inserting the needle into muscle, there is increase in blood flow, and decreased in pain sensitivity. The objective of dry needling is to decrease pain, improve mobility, and decrease muscle tightness. Dry needling can be used for a variety of injuries from low back pain, to TMJ dysfunction. Dry needling is used as part of a comprehensive approach to your physical therapy plan of care. Reach out to Dr. Alina if you have any questions, or to find out if dry needling is right for you.
